Reliable 3D modelling of underground hydrocarbon reservoirs is a challenging task due to the complexity geological formations and availability different types data that are typically affected by uncertainties. In case geologically complex depositional environments, such as fractured reservoirs, uncertainties involved in process demand accurate analysis quantification order provide reliable confidence range volumetric estimations. present work, we used model carbonate reservoir populated it with lithological petrophysical properties. The available dataset also included discrete fracture network (DFN) property was distribution. Uncertainties affecting facies, their geometry absolute positions (related fault system), distribution properties were accounted for. We all an automated approach using tools today’s software packages combining uncertain input parameters series statistically representative realizations. particular, defined specific workflow for definition permeability according equivalent, single porosity approach, taking into account contribution both matrix system. results analyses transferred numerical fluid-dynamic simulator evaluate propagation associated down final results, assess dynamic response following selected development plan. “integrated approach” presented this paper can be useful technicians construction validation models hydrocarbon-bearing potentially become part educational training young geoscientists engineers, since integrated well-constructed backbone any study.
